1. WHO WE ARE
1.1 Urban Outlaws Training Club is a trading name of My Fitness Local Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 08331260. Registered office: 46 Brookhill Drive, Wollaton, Nottingham NG8 2PS.
1.2 Club address: Units 5, 6 & 7, Humber Works, Humber Road, Beeston, Nottingham NG9 2ET.
Telephone: 07729 635155 · Email: crossfiturbanoutlaws@outlook.com · Website: www.urbanoutlaws.uk
1.3 "We", "us" and "our" mean My Fitness Local Limited. "You" and "your" mean the member, or the person buying or using our services.
2. YOUR AGREEMENT WITH US
2.1 Your agreement is made up of these terms, the Club Rules in section 13, and the membership, price, start date and payment details confirmed to you when you join. If anything we confirm to you in writing differs from these terms, what we confirmed in writing applies.
2.2 You will be asked to accept these terms when you join (usually through our membership system, ClubRight). A copy of these terms is always available on our website.
2.3 These terms apply to consumers training for personal purposes. Separately purchased services such as trial sessions, personal training, events and products are sold on the price and conditions shown when you buy them, and otherwise on these terms where relevant.
3. JOINING AND ELIGIBILITY
3.1 Minimum age. Members must be at least 16 years old. We may ask for proof of age.
3.2 Members aged 16 or 17. A parent or legal guardian must sign the membership agreement in writing (an electronic signature is fine). The parent or guardian enters this agreement personally, jointly with the member, and is liable as principal (not only as guarantor) for all fees properly due until the member turns 18 or the membership ends, whichever is first. By signing, the parent or guardian also confirms the young person may take part in the activities described in these terms. When the member turns 18 the membership continues in the member's own name on the same terms.
3.3 Health questionnaire and induction. Before training, every new member must complete our health questionnaire (PAR-Q) honestly and fully, and complete an induction. We may ask you to get clearance from a doctor before you train, or to train with modifications, where your answers or circumstances reasonably call for it. You must not use open gym until you have completed your induction and we have confirmed you may do so. We will ask you to update your PAR-Q each year, and you must tell us about any change in your health in between.
3.4 Accurate information. You must give us accurate details when you join and tell us promptly about changes to your contact details, emergency contact or payment details.
3.5 Our right to decline. We may decline a membership application where we have a reasonable basis to do so, for example a previous serious breach of our rules or an unresolved safety concern. We will never refuse membership for an unlawful discriminatory reason.
3.6 Your membership is personal to you and cannot be shared, lent or transferred.
4. MEMBERSHIPS AND WHAT'S INCLUDED
4.1 Starter Membership – one coached class per week. A "week" runs Monday to Sunday. Unused sessions do not carry over to another week and cannot be exchanged for a refund. Starter does not include open gym or the performance app.
4.2 Unlimited Membership – unlimited coached classes (subject to availability and booking), open gym during operating hours, and access to the performance app.
4.3 No guaranteed place. Your membership gives you the right to book available places. It does not guarantee a place in a particular class unless your booking is confirmed. Class sizes are limited for safety.
4.4 Performance app. Where your membership includes the performance app, use of the app may also be subject to the app's own terms of use and privacy notice. If the app is temporarily unavailable, this does not affect your other membership benefits. If we permanently withdraw the app from the Unlimited Membership, section 20 applies.
4.5 Changing plans. You can switch between Starter and Unlimited by contacting us. Changes take effect from the start of your next four-week payment cycle unless we agree otherwise. Changing plan does not restart your minimum term.
5. PAYMENTS AND PRICE CHANGES
5.1 Membership fees are paid in advance every four weeks. Your first payment is taken when you join (or as confirmed at sign-up) and later payments on the same day every four weeks. Because a four-week cycle is shorter than a calendar month, payment dates move through the month and there are 13 payments in a year.
5.2 You must pay your fees whether or not you attend, unless your membership is on an approved hold, has ended, or these terms say otherwise.
5.3 Failed payments. If a payment fails we will contact you and may retry it. The amount properly due stays payable. We do not charge a failed-payment fee. If a payment remains unpaid for more than 14 days after we have contacted you, we may suspend your access until it is paid. If an amount remains unpaid, we may recover it through lawful means, which may include passing the debt to a collection agency or bringing a court claim. We may charge interest on sums more than 28 days overdue at 4% a year above the Bank of England base rate, from the due date until payment, and claim any court fees and costs a court allows.
5.4 Cancelling your bank instruction is not cancelling your membership. To end your membership you must give notice under section 7. Fees properly due up to your end date remain payable.
5.5 Price changes. We may change membership prices, but:
• we will give you at least 30 days' notice in writing (normally by email) before the new price applies to you;
• we will not increase your price during your minimum term; and
• if you do not want to pay the new price, you may cancel by telling us before it takes effect. Your membership will then end on the day before the new price would have applied, without your usual notice period.
5.6 All prices include VAT where applicable.
6. MINIMUM TERM AND ROLLING MEMBERSHIP
6.1 Your membership has a minimum term of three calendar months starting on your membership start date. For example, a membership starting on 10 March has a minimum term ending on 9 June.
6.2 After the minimum term, your membership continues on a rolling basis until it is cancelled by you under section 7 or ended by us under section 19 or 20.
6.3 Your minimum term is measured in calendar months, not by counting payments.
6.4 Before your membership rolls on, and at regular intervals afterwards, we will send you any reminder notices the law requires, explaining your price, payment frequency and how to cancel.
7. CANCELLING YOUR MEMBERSHIP
HOW TO CANCEL
7.1 You can cancel by:
• completing the online cancellation form at urbanoutlaws.uk/cancellationpolicy; or
• emailing a clear cancellation request to crossfiturbanoutlaws@outlook.com; or
• any other clear written communication to us.
The form and email are the quickest routes, because they give you a written record.
We do not require a reason, a phone call, a meeting or an exit survey. We will acknowledge your cancellation by email, normally within two working days, confirming your end date and any final payment. If you do not receive an acknowledgement, please contact us, as your notice may not have reached us.
WHEN YOUR MEMBERSHIP ENDS
7.2 Notice given during the minimum term: your membership ends on whichever is later – one calendar month after we receive your notice, or the last day of your minimum term.
7.3 Notice given after the minimum term: your membership ends one calendar month after we receive your notice.
7.4 Final payment. You pay for your membership up to and including your end date. If your end date falls part-way through a four-week payment cycle, we will charge only for the days up to your end date, calculated at a daily rate of your four-week fee divided by 28, or refund any overpayment within 14 days of your end date. Your access continues until your end date.
EARLY RELEASE
7.5 We will release you from the remainder of your minimum term if, after joining, any of the following happens:
• you suffer a serious illness or injury that is likely to stop you exercising for the rest of your minimum term;
• you experience a significant change in your financial circumstances that you could not reasonably have foreseen when you joined (for example, losing your job) and that means you can no longer afford your membership;
• you move your permanent home more than 25 miles from the club.
In these cases your membership ends one calendar month after we receive your request, or sooner if we agree. We may ask for reasonable evidence (for example, a fit note or doctor's letter, a redundancy letter, or proof of your new address), and we will handle any health or financial information sensitively. If the illness or injury is likely to be temporary, you may prefer a hold under section 9.
7.6 Death. If a member dies, the membership ends immediately on our being notified. We will not seek any further payment and will refund any fees paid for the period after the date of death.
7.7 You may also cancel where we have materially failed to provide the services you paid for, or where the law otherwise gives you the right to cancel. Nothing in this section restricts those rights.
8. 14-DAY COOLING-OFF PERIOD
8.1 Your right to cancel. Every new membership – whether you join online, by phone or in person at the club – comes with a 14-day cooling-off period starting the day after your membership agreement is made. You can cancel within that period without giving a reason by telling us clearly, using the cancellation form or by email (a model cancellation form is included in your welcome email).
8.2 Starting straight away. When you join, you can ask us to start your membership immediately so that you can have your induction and train during the 14 days. We will record that request when you sign up. If you start straight away and then cancel within the 14 days, you pay a proportionate amount for the days of membership you had up to the day you told us you were cancelling, calculated at the daily rate in section 7.4, and we refund the rest. If you have not started (no induction, attendance or use of the club), you get a full refund.
8.3 We will only charge for days used if you expressly asked us to start early and we told you about this charge before you did. We will confirm your membership, your cooling-off right and this charge by email after you join.
8.4 Refunds are made within 14 days of your cancellation, to the payment method you used, without any fee.
9. MEMBERSHIP HOLDS
9.1 You can ask to put your membership on hold in writing (by email or through ClubRight). Normally:
• a hold must be for at least two weeks;
• you must ask at least two weeks before the hold starts;
• you must give a start date and a return date; and
• holds cannot be backdated.
9.2 Illness, injury, pregnancy and childbirth. The two-week notice period does not apply, and the return date can be agreed according to your recovery. Please contact us as soon as you can. We may ask for reasonable supporting evidence and will handle health information sensitively.
9.3 During an approved hold, your payments are paused and you cannot use the club. Your minimum term is extended by the length of the hold, and your payment dates move accordingly. We will confirm the agreed dates and your revised payment and minimum-term dates in writing before the hold starts.
9.4 A hold only takes effect once we have confirmed it. We will consider every request fairly and will not unreasonably refuse one.
10. BOOKINGS AND CLASSES
10.1 Classes and access are booked through ClubRight or any other system we tell you about. We recommend booking, and you are responsible for checking your bookings and arriving on time. You can also turn up without booking if there is space, but booked members take priority.
10.2 If you arrive after the warm-up has started, the coach may ask you to warm up separately or not to take part, for your safety.
10.3 If you can't attend, please cancel your booking as early as possible so someone else can have your place. We do not currently charge for late cancellations or no-shows. Repeated no-shows may lead to reasonable booking restrictions, which we will explain to you first.
10.4 We may change the timetable, coach or content of a class, or cancel a class, where reasonably necessary (for example, for staffing, safety, maintenance or low attendance). We will give as much notice as we reasonably can through ClubRight, our app or social channels.
11. OPEN GYM AND BUILDING ACCESS
11.1 Open gym is available to Unlimited members who have completed their induction, during the club's published operating hours only.
11.2 Open gym is not coached. A coach may not be present or available to supervise you. When using open gym you must:
• only perform movements and use equipment you have been taught to use safely in our classes or induction;
• use collars on every loaded barbell;
• only do heavy squats or bench presses with a competent spotter;
• for Olympic lifts, use bumper plates and a clear space, and only go heavy if you can bail out safely;
• only use the climbing rope, pegboard, high rings or heavy yoke if you are competent to do so (including getting down safely), and use the crash mats;
• use your own kit or gym equipment – another member's kit only with their permission, and nothing from lost property without a coach's OK;
• not train if you feel unwell, are injured in a way that makes training unsafe, or are under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
• stay within the areas set aside for open gym when a class is running – classes always take priority;
• put away and wipe down all equipment, and leave the space as you found it;
• report any injury, damage or near miss to a coach or the owners the same day.
11.2A If no coach is on site. Keep your phone with you, know where the first aid kit is (behind reception), and do not use the climbing rope, pegboard, high rings or heavy yoke if you are training alone. In an emergency call 999, then tell the owners the same day.
11.2B The open gym rules are also displayed in the club (method statement, Appendix C). If the displayed rules and this section ever differ, the stricter rule applies.
11.3 Door codes and access. Any door code or access method we give you is personal. You must not share it, write it where others can see it, or let anyone into the building who is not a member, a booked visitor or a person authorised by us. You must only use your access during operating hours. Sharing access or letting others in is a serious breach of these terms.
11.4 Shared building. The club is in a building shared with other businesses. Please respect their premises, staff, customers and parking. Areas outside our units are not under our control.
11.5 We may restrict or withdraw open gym access for any member who does not follow this section, and we may close open gym at any time for safety, maintenance, events or classes.
12. HEALTH, SAFETY AND EXERCISE RISK
12.1 Exercise involves risk. Strength and conditioning, weightlifting, gymnastics, hybrid and functional fitness training are physically demanding. Even when everyone takes reasonable care, risks remain, including muscle strains and tears, sprains, joint injuries, falls, collisions, cuts and bruises, injuries from equipment, over-exertion, fainting and, rarely, heart problems, serious injury, permanent disability or death. By training with us you confirm you understand that these risks are part of the activity.
12.2 Your responsibilities. You agree to:
• tell us honestly about any medical condition, injury, illness, pregnancy, medication or other matter that may affect your safety, both when you join and whenever anything changes;
• get medical advice before training if you have any doubt about whether exercise is safe for you;
• train within your own ability and choose weights, movements and intensity you can safely manage;
• follow coaches' instructions, scaling and safety directions – on safety matters the coach's decision is final;
• stop immediately and tell a coach if you feel unwell, dizzy, faint, short of breath or in unusual pain;
• check equipment before you use it and not use anything that appears damaged, unsafe or is marked out of use;
• report accidents, injuries, near misses and hazards to a member of staff straight away.
12.3 Our responsibilities. We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill, take reasonable care to keep the premises and equipment safe, and give appropriate coaching, scaling and instruction. We keep a written risk assessment and method statement, review them at least once a year and after any significant incident, and display them with our rules in reception for you to read.
12.4 We may ask you to modify or stop an exercise, stop training for the session, or provide medical clearance before you train again, where we reasonably consider this necessary for your safety or the safety of others.
12.5 Understanding the risks of exercise does not mean you give up any legal rights if we are negligent. Section 18 explains our liability.
12.6 Emergencies. There is no fire alarm system. If you discover a fire, shout "Fire!" to warn everyone, then call 999. If you hear someone shout "Fire!", put any weights down safely, leave by the nearest safe exit without stopping for belongings, go to the assembly point behind KFC on Queen's Road, and do not go back in until the fire service says it is safe. Follow the duty coach's instructions. In a medical emergency, staff will call 999 and give what help they can, and members with relevant training are encouraged to help. If someone collapses, the 999 call handler will say whether there is a public defibrillator nearby.
13. CLUB RULES
These rules form part of your agreement. They exist to keep everyone safe and to keep the club a good place to train. Breaking them can lead to the steps in section 19.
1. Coaches have the final say on safety. Listen when coaches are giving instructions, and follow them.
2. Tell the coach. Report injuries, health changes and concerns before or during the session.
3. Leave your ego at the door. Train at the right level for you today. Leave coaching to the coaches unless someone is at obvious risk of hurting themselves or others.
4. Respect others. No abusive, threatening, discriminatory, harassing or intimidating behaviour, in person or online, towards members, staff, visitors or neighbouring businesses. Respect people's space mid-set, and don't stare or make others uncomfortable.
5. Respect the equipment. Collars on every loaded bar. Control your weights and only drop a bar loaded with bumper plates. Never drop an empty bar, or dumbbells and kettlebells from height. Use equipment only for its intended purpose.
6. Keep your space. Never walk in front of or behind someone lifting, between a wall-ball thrower and their target, or under someone on the rig.
7. Clean up after yourself. Return equipment to where it belongs, wipe it down after use, and take your rubbish, tape and belongings with you. Keep chalk in the chalk bucket.
8. Hygiene, clothing and jewellery. Wear clean, suitable training clothes and footwear (barefoot only where the coach allows it). Remove rings and jewellery that could snag before rig, ring, rope or barbell work. No dirty work boots or work clothes on the training floor. Don't train with an infectious illness or skin infection.
9. Bleeding. If you are bleeding, stop, get it covered up, and let a coach clean the equipment before anyone uses it.
10. Classes take priority. Don't use class space or equipment during a class unless you are in it.
11. Keep the floor clear. No food, glass bottles, bags, coats or phones on the gym floor. Water bottles and sports drinks only.
12. No smoking or vaping anywhere on the premises.
13. No alcohol or drugs. Don't train or come onto the premises under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
14. Be honest. Count your reps and record your scores truthfully.
15. We have neighbours. Between 8pm and 9am keep noise to a minimum – voices, music, dropped weights and vehicles – and take care when leaving onto the road, whether running or driving.
16. Other people's kit. Don't use another member's kit unless they've said you can, and don't take or use anything from lost property without a coach's OK. Whatever you use – yours or borrowed – it's up to you to check it fits, is in good condition (check the straps and buckles) and that you know how to use it.
17. Door code. Never share the door code or let anyone in behind you.
18. Something unsafe? If you spot damage or a hazard, don't use it – tell a coach.
19. Use common sense. If something seems unsafe, stop and ask a coach.
14. VISITORS, CHILDREN AND PETS
14.1 Drop-ins, trial members and guests must be booked in or authorised by us, and must complete our health questionnaire (PAR-Q) and accept these terms before training. They must follow staff instructions and the Club Rules. Contractors and other visitors must check in and follow staff instructions.
14.2 Children under 16 may not train or use any equipment. Children are welcome to watch a parent or guardian train, but must stay with that adult, off the equipment and out of training areas, and remain that adult's responsibility at all times.
14.3 No pets are allowed in the club, except assistance dogs.
15. PHOTOS AND FILMING
15.1 We sometimes take photos and video in the club for coaching, our app and social media. We will only feature you in our marketing or social media if you have opted in (when you join or later). For members aged 16 or 17 we also need a parent's or guardian's consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time and we will stop using new images of you and remove existing posts featuring you where we reasonably can. Wide shots of the gym in which you are not the focus may still be used.
15.2 You may film your own training, but you must not film or photograph other members or staff without their permission, or film in changing or toilet areas.
16. YOUR BELONGINGS AND LOST PROPERTY
16.1 Please avoid bringing valuables. Bags, keys and phones can be left at reception, and personal kit on the members' shelf – both at your own risk. We're a members-only gym and the shelf works on trust, but things left there can go missing. Bags, coats and phones must not be left on the gym floor. We do not provide supervised storage, and we are not responsible for loss of or damage to belongings except where it is caused by our negligence or breach of these terms. Anything left anywhere else in the club will be cleared into lost property.
16.2 Lost property is kept in a box on the members' shelf, labelled with the date it will be cleared – usually about a month after it was found – so you can look for your own things. After that date, unclaimed items are donated to local charities or thrown away. Valuable items, or items that may contain personal or financial information (phones, wallets, keys, bank cards, jewellery), are locked in the office rather than kept in the box, and handled separately.
16.3 Lost property is not for borrowing. Don't take, try on or use anything from lost property that isn't yours without a coach's OK, and don't use another member's kit unless they've said you can. A coach's OK does not replace your own responsibility to check that an item fits, is in good condition and is suitable for you.
16.4 Personal equipment you bring (belts, wraps, grips, shoes, ropes and similar) is your responsibility, including checking that it is safe and suitable.
17. DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT OR PREMISES
17.1 If you damage our equipment or premises deliberately, recklessly, carelessly, or by misusing equipment contrary to instructions, you will be responsible for the reasonable cost of repair or replacement. We will show you how the cost is calculated. You are not responsible for ordinary wear and tear or accidental damage during normal, proper use.
18. OUR LIABILITY TO YOU
18.1 What we do not exclude. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude or limit. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights, including your right to services provided with reasonable care and skill.
18.2 What we are responsible for. We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is obvious it will happen, or if both you and we knew it might happen when the agreement was made.
18.3 What we are not responsible for. Subject always to section 18.1, we are not responsible for:
• injury, illness or loss arising from the inherent risks of exercise described in section 12, where we have not been negligent and have not breached these terms;
• loss that was not foreseeable;
• loss, to the extent it is caused by your failure to give us accurate health information, to follow coaches' instructions or safety directions, or to follow these terms and the Club Rules;
• loss caused by events outside our reasonable control (see section 20.5);
• loss caused by other people, businesses or areas in the shared building that are not under our control, unless we caused or contributed to it;
• any business losses. Our memberships are for personal use, so we are not responsible for loss of profit, business, contracts or business opportunity.
18.4 Where your own actions or decisions contributed to an injury or loss, any compensation we owe will be reduced to reflect your share of responsibility, as the law provides.
18.5 Limit. Except for the liabilities in section 18.1 and loss of or damage to your personal property caused by our negligence, our total liability to you for any other loss under or in connection with your membership is limited to the total membership fees you have paid us under this agreement.
18.6 We do not promise that you will achieve any particular fitness, health, weight, appearance or performance result.
19. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION BY US
19.1 Immediate action. We may suspend your access immediately, while we look into what happened, or end your membership immediately by telling you in writing, if you:
• behave in a violent, threatening, abusive, discriminatory or harassing way towards anyone at the club or connected with it;
• seriously endanger your own safety or the safety of others, or repeatedly ignore safety instructions;
• share your door code or access, or let unauthorised people into the building;
• deliberately damage, steal or misuse property belonging to us, other members or the businesses we share the building with;
• gave us false or misleading information when joining, including on your health questionnaire, where this is relevant to safety; or
• commit any other serious or repeated breach of these terms or the Club Rules.
19.2 Your fees continue during a suspension under section 19.1. If we decide there was no breach, we will credit you for the suspended period. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will explain our concern and give you a chance to respond before making a final decision. For less serious breaches we will normally give you a warning first.
19.3 Unpaid fees. Section 5.3 applies. If fees remain unpaid for more than 28 days after we have asked you to pay, we may end your membership by telling you in writing. Amounts properly due up to the end date remain payable.
19.4 Ending with notice. We may also end any membership for any reason by giving at least one calendar month's notice in writing. We will refund any fees paid for the period after the end date.
19.5 If we end your membership because of your breach, you must pay fees properly due up to the date it ends, but we will not charge any penalty or termination fee, and we will refund any fees you have paid for the period after the end date. If we end it under section 19.1 we may refuse future applications.
20. CLOSURES AND CHANGES TO OUR SERVICES
20.1 We may make reasonable changes to the timetable, coaches, class content, equipment and layout from time to time. We will not make changes that significantly reduce what your membership includes without telling you in advance.
20.2 Significant changes. If we make a change that significantly reduces the benefits of your membership (for example, permanently removing open gym or the performance app from Unlimited, or substantially cutting the timetable), we will tell you at least 30 days in advance where we can, and you may cancel without your usual notice period and without completing your minimum term.
20.3 Planned closures. The club operates reduced hours or closes on some bank holidays and over Christmas and New Year. We publish these dates on ClubRight and our social channels in advance, and our prices take them into account.
20.4 Unplanned closures. Other closures (for example for repairs or safety reasons) will be announced with as much notice as reasonably possible. If the club is closed, or we cannot provide your membership services, for more than 3 consecutive days for any reason other than a planned closure, we will credit you a proportionate amount for every day of the closure against your next payment (or refund you if your membership is ending). If the closure lasts, or is expected to last, more than 30 days, you may cancel immediately.
20.5 Events outside our control. We are not responsible for delay or failure to provide our services caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as fire, flood, severe weather, loss of utilities, failure of the building or landlord's services, public health restrictions or government orders. Section 20.4 still applies to your payments in these cases.
20.6 If we permanently close or stop providing your membership services, we will tell you as soon as we can and refund any fees paid for the period after the services stop.
21. YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
21.1 We use your personal information to run your membership, take payments, manage bookings, keep you safe, contact you about your membership and, where you have agreed, send you news and offers. We handle it in line with UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
21.2 Health information you give us (such as your PAR-Q, injuries or medical conditions) is used only to keep you safe and to manage holds or early release requests. It is stored securely in ClubRight, shared with our coaches only as needed for your safety, and may be shared with the emergency services in an emergency.
21.3 We keep your PAR-Q, signed terms and any accident records for 5 years after your membership ends (for members who joined aged 16 or 17, until at least 5 years after their 18th birthday), because they may be needed if a claim is made. After that they are securely deleted.
21.4 Our Privacy Notice explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and your rights: urbanoutlaws.uk/privacy.
22. COMPLAINTS
22.1 If you're unhappy with anything, please tell us by email or in person so we can put it right. Please include relevant dates and details. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 working days and respond fully within 14 days.
22.2 If we cannot resolve your complaint, we will tell you so in writing. We do not currently use an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider. This does not affect your right to take your complaint further, including to court.
23. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
23.1 We may update these terms to reflect changes in the law, our services, safety procedures or how we run the club.
23.2 We will give existing members at least 30 days' notice by email of any change that materially affects your rights or obligations, unless the change is required sooner by law or is only to your benefit. If a change is significantly to your disadvantage, you may cancel before it takes effect without your usual notice period and without completing your minimum term.
23.3 The current version of these terms is always on our website, with the date it was last updated.
24. GENERAL
24.1 Transfer. You may not transfer your membership to anyone else. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another business that takes over the club, and will tell you if this happens. If you are unhappy with the transfer, you may cancel without your usual notice period.
24.2 Severability. If a court decides any part of these terms is unlawful or unenforceable, the rest will continue to apply.
24.3 No waiver. If we delay or don't enforce a term, we can still enforce it later.
24.4 Third parties. This agreement is between you (and, for members aged 16 or 17, the signing parent or guardian) and us. No one else has any right to enforce it.
24.5 Notices. We will usually contact you by email at the address you gave us. Please keep it up to date.
24.6 Law and courts. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
